Written plainly, and kept in step with what the site actually does.
The short version
This site sets no cookies at all unless you accept them. Counting visitors does not require them, so the basic traffic measurement runs whether you accept or not, and it cannot identify you.
What runs without your consent
Cloudflare Web Analytics. It records that a page was viewed, roughly where in the world the request came from, and which site referred it. It sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device, and does not build an identifier from your IP address or browser, so it cannot follow you between visits or between sites. It is how we know whether anyone is reading.
Two settings kept in your own browser. Your light or dark preference, and your answer to the cookie question, are stored in your browser’s local storage so the site does not have to ask twice. They never leave your device and are not sent to us.
What runs only if you accept
Google Analytics. If you accept, we load Google Analytics to understand how the site is used — which sections are read, where people arrive from, and where they stop. It sets cookies in your browser. We run it with IP anonymisation on and advertising signals off, so it is not used to build an advertising profile of you and we do not share it with advertisers.
If you decline, it is never loaded. Nothing is downloaded, and no cookie is set.
Changing your mind
You can change your answer at any time using cookie preferences, which is also linked in the footer of every page. Declining is remembered the same way accepting is — we will not keep asking.
Your rights
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 you may ask what personal data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and withdraw consent you have given. Write to info@magneterp.com and we will respond. You may also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
Enquiries you send us
This site has no forms. If you email or telephone us, we keep what you send in order to reply to you and to carry on the conversation — nothing more, and we do not add you to a marketing list you did not ask for.
